Also, in attendance from RB was their Chief People & Performance Officer, Richard Rendell.
In an address made by the Progresif CEO, Hajah Nurul Haniah remarked enthusiastically about the fantastic opportunities this initiative affords to both companies as well as the secondees. “Progresif continues to strive towards being the most convenient, customer-centric company in the technology and telecommunications industry, and still glowing from the recent success of being named the World’s Leading Cabin Crew, I am certain that there is so much we can gain from these talented new additions who have trained in one of the country’s most accomplished companies where customer service is concerned”, the CEO said.
“Their exposure to the rigors of having to meet and exceed international standards, competing with the best in the world, places this class of RB staff in a niche talent pool that any company in Brunei would be lucky to bring on board”, Hajah Nurul continued.
Nurbahriah Eliza, RB’s Acting CEO said: “We are delighted to partner with Progresif, a leading telecommunications company in Brunei whose vision closely aligns with ours. Through this collaboration, we are extremely proud that our secondees will embark on a new challenge and undertake various roles during this period. We hope the experience will improve their individual competitiveness in their future advancement and broaden their knowledge in a new industry whilst promoting exchange and cooperation between RB and Progresif.”
“At RB, our people’s continuous development is always at the forefront of our thinking with many initiatives introduced to support their growth further. Our secondment program allows them to work temporarily in a different company and build the capacity of our people as the experience may help with career progression, networking, elevating and enriching them through the course of lifelong learning.”
“Our secondees are encouraged to take advantage of the new opportunity and challenges presented by the secondment, as new opportunities often bring new beginnings that may lead to a more fulfilling career and personal life. We are certain their professionalism, knowledge and experience in RB will be an added value to Progresif and for RB, we will gain from the refreshed ideas, skills and capabilities they will bring back from the experience,” added RB’s Acting CEO.
The collaboration will give the RB secondees the opportunity to sharpen their skills in a different field and industry, exposing them to host of new and interesting systems, technologies and working cultures, allowing them to round out their skillsets and open up new prospects for further personal and career development.
