How to speak the Strine language

We’ve all probably encountered the ‘Strine’ (short for Australian English) language. But what does it really mean to swing round the s’arvo? Or to pull your head in? Or, better yet, to chuck a u-eyΒ in your ute?
We had some trouble figuring it out for ourselves. Thankfully, Nicola Rosenblum, the High Commissioner of Australia to Brunei, was there to help us out with a lesson on how to speak the Strine language.
