Post-Paid Channel Supervisor

To assist the Manager – Indirect Channel to manage and develop the post-paid sales channel and to ensure that service standards is consistently met, adhering to all standard operating procedures

Job Description

  • Assist the Indirect Manager in developing post-paid channel, to identify, train and on-board dealers to sell Progresif post-paid products
  • Train the dealer staff on Progresif products and services, and monitor the staff in terms of P&S knowledge by conducting periodic assessment
  • Take the lead to draft all SOPs related the post-paid channel, in coordination with training team
  • To accompany dealer staff to key customers, for high end customers
  • Train the staff and ensure 100% adherence on SOPs
  • Ensure all points of distribution are maximized to increase the visibility the Progresif brand, product and services as per visual merchandising guide and branding
  • Ensure adequate stock at retail level
  • Develop and build a strong relationship with channel partners
  • To assist to develop and implement opportunities as relevant to develop of co-branded cards, discounts, promotion for phone call top up and other initiatives that drive sales
  • Proactively contribute in action plans to combat new and/or existing competitors’ activities
  • Effectively resolve distribution complaints and implement processes to reduce future complaints and dissatisfactions
  • Ensure all relevant training programmes/initiatives are implemented across appropriate distributions points
  • Ensure that customer solutions are effectively delivered. Effectively resolve complaints and implement processes to reduce future complaints and dissatisfaction.
  • Maintain all operational policies, processes, procedures and business ethnics as per company and retail standards
  • Prepare channel commission report and ensure timely pay out to channel
  • Prepare and submit reports to Indirect Sales Manager
  • Ensure all relevant channel targets are met


  • HND in Business Administration or in relevant field; or at least 2 years of work experience in a service environment
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in retail or relevant areas
  • At least 2 years of experience in supervisory role
  • Computer literate and good proficiency in Microsoft applications (excel, word)
  • Strong sales orientation
  • Preferably banking or insurance
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Good in numbers and has basic commercial math knowledge
  • Good time management and organizing skills
  • Good attention to detail and follow-through
  • Good interpersonal skills as a team player
  • Excellent coaching skills
  • Good influencing and negotiating skills
