Progresif continued its yearly tradition of supporting local artists at every festive season—this time with a collaboration with five artists to produce unique Chinese New Year packets.
Progresif engaged with artists; Cheryl Pang, Lu Shir Mao, Teo Wei Fong, Sally Chin and Sarah Teo, to help create designs that embody ‘Tuan Yuen’ (meaning ‘to have a reunion’), to celebrate togetherness in the festive season.
Every design represents key elements of community and prosperity, from Lu’s surrealist interpretation of collective achievement to Sarah’s visual depiction of joy, blessings and gratefulness in the community.
Devin Edwards, Chief Marketing Officer at Progresif, stated “We’re happy to provide continued support to the development of the Arts & Culture community in Brunei, through ongoing partnerships and collaboration collaboration.”
“We believe that creative collaborations such as this will empower the local creative scene and provide an outlet for their growth which is beneficial for the development of the creative industry and the Brunei economy,” he said.
To get hold of the Chinese New Year packets, drop by any of the Progresif stores.
Progresif announced its commitment to invest in the areas of arts and culture in January 2017 along with education, environment and entrepreneurship, all of which makes up the four pillars under Progresif’s corporate social responsibility programme.
