PROGRESIF REINFORCES HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS BY LAUNCHING HSE HANDBOOK AND SAFETY VIDEO

Progresif strengthened its commitment to global health and safety workplace standards by launching a health and safety handbook and safety video.
The two important assets –Progresif HSE Manual Handbook and Emergency Evacuation Video – would help the company continually reinforce its health and safety messages to its employees.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Edzwan Zukri Pehin Dato Adanan, Board Member of Progresif and Lead Director of HSE Steering Committee.

Paul Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of Progresif, highlighted the importance of adopting health and safety in the workplace as part of a company’s culture.
“A safe and healthy work environment can only be achieved through a system that clearly defines the responsibilities of the safety personnel, cooperation amongst all employees and treating It as an integral part of company culture.”
“Health and safety are critical aspects that enable business and operations to continue. With the new handbook and video, we can stimulate an environment that is conducive for learning and better promotes awareness for occupational health and safety in the company.”
“We also appreciate the Fire and Rescue Department for sharing their knowledge with safety talks for us all,” he said.
The launch of the HSE Manual Handbook and Emergency Evacuation Video also align with calls by the Ministry of Communications to improve the overall monitoring of health and safety in the workplace across all sectors.
At the end of the event, certificates were presented to Progresif fire marshals by the Deputy Director of the Fire and Rescue Department, Lim Hock Guan.
