30 March 2021 – Progresif Sdn. Bhd. was proud to unveil a customized sales vehicle yesterday, Monday 29 March, at a launch event held at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC), Jalan Menteri Besar.

Present at the event to officiate the Progressive sales vehicle as the Guest of Honour was the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib Bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Awang Mohammad Yusof and attended by Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, Awang Haji Hairul Mohd Daud bin Haji Abdul Karim, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Infocommunications) at Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Awang Goh King Chin, GHK Motors’ Managing Director as well as Senior Officials from MTIC, Progresif and GHK Motors Sdn Bhd Management team. Also present at the event was Yang Mulia Awang Edzwan Zukri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Adnan, Board Director of Progresif.

Launched as part of Progresif’s ongoing retail transformation plan, the Progresif sales vehicle is intended to be used as a mobile store by the Progresif sales Street Team. The full scope of Progresif’s retail transformation progress and their exciting new offerings was on full display to ministerial guests during a tour of the Progresif booth at MTIC.

Stemming from the media and infocommunications company’s longstanding promise to be a brand “that always drives progress”, the mobile store becomes the next step in Progresif’s efforts to transform the way that the company interfaces with customers and vice versa. In a speech by the company’s CEO, Dayang Hajah Nurul Haniah Binti Haji Jaafar, said that “true 21st Century retail means making your products and services more accessible to the communities you serve, in their actual communities. Gone are the days where the onus is on the customer to seek out the company. The internet has altered the dynamics of modern retail and Progresif has never shied away from change, rather, the pursuit of progress is what drives us”.

During the event, Guest of Honour and invited guests were given a short tour of the sales vehicle and its abundant features, which, consists of all the items needed to build a pop-up shop anywhere in Brunei that a road can reach. From a generator to screens, awnings, chairs, stools, tables, a branded canopy and more, the CEO was excited to announce that before long, Progresif will be able to have a presence in all the corners of the kingdom.

Fresh in the wake of Progresif’s recent Flagship Experience store in Times Square Shopping Centre and their recent launch of all new “faster speeds, bigger data, better prices” Home WiFi plans, the sales vehicle launch was right on track for a company that has shown 2021 to be a year of dynamism and proactivity.
