Journalists in Training

What better way to demonstrate our commitment to helping people connect than by investing in tomorrow’s communicators? We believe in being endlessly curious, because big questions can lead to big breakthroughs.
Progresif proudly sponsored the Brunei Times Young Journalists Camp, a three-day workshop for aspiring journalists. The program gave 25 young writers a taste of a career in the professional media, teaching Year Seven to Upper Six students the elements of reporting, news writing and news photography. The students also learned tips on how to make the most out of their interviews and honed their skills by covering a live news event. The camp was held at the Brunei Edutainment Wonderland Carnival at Jerudong Park and Country Club Amphitheatre.

Voices & thoughts on everything progressive

At Progresif, we think that something as simple as a themed competition is exactly what’s needed to spark conversations on progressiveness and what it means. We wanted to put ourselves out there to check the pulse on the ground. That’s why we are sponsoring The Brunei Times essay writing competition in search of likeminded young talents who are just as passionate about progress as we are.
The truth is, we are calling all future movers and game changers to step forward. Engaging with these amazing talents is an experience to remember. It teaches us how to hunt and spot opportunities, and even how to connect the dots that we didn’t know existed. What an exciting start to a better future.
Keep talking, stay connected, and be progressive.
