5G is the 5th generation of mobile networks. With this technology, you can expect a better online experience using your mobile Internet with 5G connectivity.

New customers

All new sign ups to YO! Prepaid, MORE, One Mobile, One Family and Corporate One Mobile Postpaid will automatically gain access to the 5G network.

Existing customers for YO! Prepaid (4G Network)

Existing Yo!Prepaid (4G) subscribers who have not opted in will be automatically upgraded to 5G starting 1 August 2024.
Note : As of June 22, 2023, all newly registered Yo!Prepaid users are already on the 5G network.

Existing customers for One Mobile, One Family and Just Data Plan)
One Mobile and One Family subscribers will be automatically upgraded to 5G starting 1 July 2024. Just Data Plan subscribers will be automatically upgraded to 5G starting 1 September 2024.

Note:  Any new registrations for the One Mobile and One Family plans from June 26 onwards will be on the 5G network

You will need to have the following to get access to 5G:

  • A 5G-compatible phone
  • A 5G Mobile Plan
  • Be within the coverage area of the 5G network (accredited by UNN)

When you upgrade to 5G, any remaining credit/data from your 4G plan will be forfeited. For Prepaid users, we recommend using up or transferring any remaining credit before upgrading to 5G.

If you signed up or switched your existing number to Progresif, simply insert your new SIM card into your mobile phone and you’re good to go. Please ensure that your network settings are set to “Prefer 5G” for optimal connectivity. 

Yes, we offer a range of mobile phones that are compatible with 5G. You can check the available bundles here. For Corporate One Mobile customers, you can reach out to your respective Enterprise Relationship Manager.

You may check the specifications on your phone’s manual or check the network settings on your phone to see if it has a 5G option.

There are no additional costs to 5G and your data rates will remain the same. However, the faster speeds in 5G may lead to an increase in data consumption.

Yes, your mobile will allow you to choose your network. To do so, please refer to the user manual of your specific mobile phone for instructions. Click here for more information.

You will have the strongest 5G connection outdoors in the areas stated here as accredited by UNN.

Pelanggan baru

Pelanggan sedia ada YO! Prepaid (4G)

Pelanggan sedia ada YO! Prepaid akan dipindah secara automatik ke 5G mulai 1 Ogos 2024.

Nota: Semua pelanggan YO! Prepaid yang mendaftar bermula 22 Jun 2023, akan mendapatkan akses ke jaringan 5G.

 

Pelanggan sedia ada (One Mobile, One Family dan Just Data Pelan)

Pelanggan One Mobile dan One Family akan dipindah secara automatik ke 5G mulai 1 Julai 2024. Pelanggan Just Data akan dipindah secara automatik ke 5G mulai 1 September 2024.

Nota: Pelanggan yang mendaftar One Mobile dan One Family bermula 26 Jun 2024 akan mendapatkan akses ke jaringan 5G secara automatik.

Awda perlukan yang berikut untuk mendapatkan akses ke 5G:

Apabila awda menaik taraf ke 5G, sebarang baki kredit/data yang ada pada pelan 4G awda akan dihapuskan. Bagi pengguna Prepaid, awda boleh menghabiskan atau memindahkan mana-mana baki kredit yang ada sebelum menaik taraf ke 5G.

Jika awda mendaftar atau memindah nombor sedia ada awda ke Progresif, awda hanya perlu memasukkan SIM kad awda ke telefon bimbit awda. Sila pastikan tetapan rangkaian awda ditetapkan kepada “Prefer 5G”.

Ya, kami menawarkan pelbagai telefon bimbit yang menyokong 5G. Awda boleh melihat tawaran bundle yang tersedia di sini. Bagi pelanggan Corporate One Mobile, awda boleh menghubungi Enterprise Relationship Manager kami.

Awda boleh merujuk spesifikasi yang ada pada panduan telefon bimbit awda ataupun menyemak tetapan rangkaian pada telefon bimbit awda untuk melihat jika ada pilihan 5G atau tidak.

Tiada kos tambahan untuk 5G dan kadar data awda akan kekal sama. Walau bagaimanapun, kelajuan 5G boleh menyebabkan peningkatan dalam penggunaan data.
